The PlugLAN™ 8650 SmartBridge from Asoka® works with the PlugLAN Gateway and other components in the PlugLAN family, delivering a complete high-speed networking solution to commercial buildings and Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs). This portable customer premises equipment (CPE) device turns any electrical outlet into a 2-port Ethernet network connection by simply plugging into any PlugLAN-enabled electrical outlet.

Using the PlugLAN 8650
A high-speed Ethernet connection to the PlugLAN system is securely established over existing electrical lines, delivering up to 85Mbps throughput. Two Ethernet ports allow two devices to be connected, such as a printer and computer, or Set-Top Box and game console.

Built-in data encryption and VLAN capabilities ensure security and privacy to every connection – ideal for apartments with shared electrical systems.
