Asoka Provides Needed Industry Tool to Identify and Assess Powerline Network Issues
Las Vegas, NV (January 7, 2008) — Asoka USA, a leading HomePlug® powerline network solutions provider, today at International CES 2008 introduced two new performance test tools – the PlugLink AV Performance Network Tester (PL8060-PNT) and the PlugLink Performance Network Tester (PL8050-PNT) – both testers that will significantly impact network installation and performance for powerline networking.
Today, service providers and system integrators are blindsided when they encounter performance issues while installing powerline networks. Asoka performance network testers provide a slew of helpful information such as: bandwidth availability, packet loss information, as well as any jitter and latency issues.
Asoka’s PL8060-PNT performance network tester is a 200 Mbps HomePlug AV tester for data, voice, and IPTV. Asoka’s PL8050-PNT performance network tester is an 85 Mbps HomePlug 1.0 tester for data and voice.
